Thanks for the feedback, Jeannie. This is the problem when you have a trade-off between video quality and file size. If the quality is upped, the resultant file could be 3 to 4 times bigger and then: more complaints!
I am actually concerned about the irritating difference between what is demonstrated on screen and what is said. I can only think that this makes it even more difficult to follow.
And between the comments you and Danri have been flinging around, I’ll have to stop using the word “pound” for # ! I’ll just stick to “hash” (when I remember).

Leslie, It is very difficult to see the Vodcasts if the screen you are working on is not maximised. The dropdown tables are so small you cannot see the words or icons. Even some of the icons on DW is not visible and things like the . of .class and the “pound???” is impossible to see.

I have found some dreamweaver tutorial sites on the web and am working through them as well. Spoke to Deon Meyer (writer) on Saturday and he does a BMW Bike Website as a hobby (until they saw it and are now paying him to do it). He uses dreamweaver and says it is simply the best. I know I must give myself some time to learn, so my mental state is OK. For now.

Never mind the “for idiots” book — you’re not in that category. Just follow what we’ve been doing in class by viewing the vodcasts and do tutorials step-by-step. And don’t listen to Emarie because she has a mental block when it comes to Dreamweaver. If you want to add a new post to the blog, follow the instructions that I gave on this here blog some time ago. But be sure to log in. We don’t want all and sundry (that’s the rest of the world) to start adding posts to the blog!
