The first annual conference of the AIPLITL will take place on 21 & 22 June 2017 at Stellenbosch University with the theme Contemporary Issues in IT and IP Law.
Hosted by the Chair of Intellectual Property Law from the Faculty of Law at Stellenbosch University on behalf of the association, the conference will take place at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Studies (STIAS) in Stellenbosch. The conference will bring together a wide variety of law teachers and researchers in IP and/or IT law from Southern Africa to share in academic output, research activity and teaching at the forefront of IP and IT law and practice. The call for papers is now open.
The conference is open to non-members of the association and invites abstracts from academics, researchers, practitioners, consultants or any other stakeholders.
