Just because we’re over the camel’s hump for the year, it doesn’t mean you’ve missed out on attending some free courses.
Information Technology will still be hosting courses over the next month that might be worthwhile for you to consider. If you want to sharpen your MS Word 2010, Excel 2010, Outlook 2010, Powerpoint 2010 or Access (beginners totgevorderd) skills or want to learn more about the new SharePoint-platform (see previous article), now’s your chance.
Registration can be done online on the staff portal. For more information and instructions on registration, visit our selfhelp-wiki.

There is no basic powerpoint course @ Tygerberg, nor is there a description of what the intermediate powerpoint course(which is available here)covers, vis a vis the basic course at main campus. I use powerpoint frequently and may be at a skill-level that the intermediate course is appropriate for me, BUT this info has NOT been provided.
Dear professor Ascott-Evans
The content of the MS Powerpoint 2010 Intermediate course is available online.
See the “Description”.
I added it here as well:
Customizing the PowerPoint Environment, Customizing a Design Template, Adding SmartArt Graphics to a Presentation, Adding Special Effects to a Presentation, Customizing a Slide Show, Collaborating on a Presentation, Securing and Distributing a Presentation.
A MS Powerpoint 2010 Basic course is scheduled for 8 November 2012 on Tygerberg campus at Gerga.
Regards
Petro Uys
My apologies.
3 days ago I could have sworn that the info I could download was as I described above. Today it is as you have stated.
