Free Windows 10 upgrade for asset computers

Microsoft has implemented Windows as a service. This means is that it will be updating Windows 10 on a more regular basis to patch any security vulnerabilities that the operating system might have.

For this reason, Information Technology also needs to keep up with the Microsoft servicing model to ensure that all staff’s PCs are safe. This includes phasing out all versions of Windows before Windows 10.

Last year we upgraded outdated staff PCs with asset numbers to Windows 10 for free. We would like to open the upgrade period again for asset desktops and laptops with the adequate specifications and capable of handling the operating system. This will take place from 1 August 2017 to 31 December 2017.

The only requirement is that your computer’s specifications are adequate, that it’s capable of handling the operating system and that you backup your own data.

Consult the list if to see if your desktop or laptop is compatible and qualifies for an upgrade. If your model qualifies, please contact us to book a time for your upgrade.
