PAVOCAT STELLENBOSCH ACADEMY

 

The Pavocat Stellenbosch Academy (PSA) is a collaboration between the Faculty of Law at Stellenbosch University and the international Pavocat Group, primarily through Pavocat South Africa (Pty) Ltd. 

 

The PSA adopts an applied approach to legal issues. It focuses primarily on the fields of counter-corruption, human rights and laws of conflict. However, in pursuing the central objectives of raising levels of integrity and good governance in Africa, all fields of law are potentially relevant to the PSA’s work. The PSA designs and implements highly practical (short) training courses to professionals, brings research efforts to bear on analysing practical issues and potential solutions in these areas and facilitates broad engagement between all relevant stakeholders to further efforts in raising integrity, good governance and rule of law in Africa.

Flagship projects of the PSA include the South Africa Regional Centre of Excellence in Integrity (SARCOE) and the South Africa Dialogue.
