We offer weekly riding lessons for complete beginners all the way up to advanced riders of any age! Lessons are focussed on proper flat work and dressage with more secure riders learning to show jump and event as well. To book kids and adult lessons please contact Melanie Lustgarden (083 500 9632). Kids Lessons: kids lessons are offered per term with one lesson per week at a specific time. Lesson slots are based on riding skill and vary from beginner to intermediate and advanced. Kids will ride our club horses supervised by a qualified instructor.
Cost: R170.00 per lesson (1hr)/ lessons are paid per term (10 weeks)
Student/Adult Lessons: lessons are also offered per term with one lesson per week at a specific time. Riders will ride one of our club horses or a privately-owned horse that has been lease to the club. All lessons will be conducted by a qualified instructor and are divided up into skill levels from beginner to advanced.

Instruction on your own horse/lease horse: Maties Equestrian is proud to have a working relationship with Di Arnold, a SANEF qualified instructor who teaches lessons at Maties twice a week, on Monday afternoons and Wednesday afternoons. Riders who own a horse or who lease a horse and are keen to improve their riding ability or school their horse under supervision, can book a lesson with Di.
