IT: Telenet dial up service terminated

The Telenet dial up services will not be available from April 2010.

ADSL can be considered as an alternative for this type of remote connection.

ADSL is available via Telkom SA and other internet service providers.

With Telkom ADSL, will we be able to use Stellenbosch University as the Internet service provider? What is the protocol to connect to SU server in this case? Please let me know. Can we use this alternative at present?
