Rector overseas from 19 to 28 October 2009

SU’s Bureau for Economic Research scoops prestigious award for 2nd year in a row

The Bureau for Economic Research (BER) at Stellenbosch University took home the Reuters South African Economist of the Year award for the second consecutive year for most accurately predicting key domestic economic indicators in the year.
The BER also scooped this award in 2001.
