    Dear Professor:

I am writing to apply for postdoctoral or fellowship position. I am currently a senior lecturer (DM51, P1/T10) at the University Technology MARA (UiTM) of Selangor at Shah Alam campus in Malaysia, and complete my contract by March-April 2013. I am extremely interested in working at that University, as its research programs are wide spread and have a reputation that is known worldwide.

I believe that my 15 years of experience working as a lecturer, researcher and industrial engineer prepared me to be an effective instructor in your department. I received BSc and MSc degree in chemical engineering at Sharif University of Technology (From Iran/Tehran) and PhD under the direction of Prof. Dr. Azman Hassan at University Technology Malaysia (UTM) in polymer engineering.

During of my contract with UiTM (2010-2013), fifteen ISI papers were submitted to high impact factor journals, six of them have been officially accepted or published (for 2012 and 2013) and others are in process of press, In addition to my research (15 papers+ 13 conferences+ 2 patents), I have also developed presentation, team-working, and organization skills. I am/was supervisor and co-supervisor of four masters and one PhD student in graduate level and the coordinator of research project for undergraduate program.

If you should happen to have an opening position for someone with my qualifications, would appreciate a personal interview at your convenience. Please consider my email address for further information such as CV. If you require any additional materials or information, I am happy to supply it. Thank you very much for your consideration.

    Sincerely,

I am Mohsen Hajibeygi, PhD. Degree from Arak University, Iran.
I am writing you to apply for a postdoctoral scholar positions, which is related to my research experiences. Your group reputation for excellence in polymer chemistry research gives me a strong impression and I would love to join it if I have the chance.
I worked for my Ph. D. with research on synthesis and characterization of polymers especially in high performance polymers such as flame retardant, thermally stable and optically active polymers, and for my MS with research on synthesis and characterization of various optically active and flame retardant polyamide and poly(amide-imide)s.
I like to spend my postdoctoral duration in your group Research.
I have a good resume during my studied period; I have about 28 accepted and published papers in some good ISI journals. Also I had good average in my BS.c, MS.c and PhD levels.
I look forward to learning more about this interesting opportunity and exploring the fit with my experience person.
I believe that my perseverance and enthusiasm could help me success in the research at your lab. I will be very grateful if you can give me a chance.
Thank you very much for your consideration and looking forward to hearing back from you.
    Sincerely,
