SU celebrates Women’s Day on 8 August
“Is multiculturalism bad for women?: The conflict between universal human rights and culture/tradition.”
This is the topic of a public lecture by Prof Amanda Gouws of the Department of Political Science at Stellenbosch University and a Commissioner for the Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) in celebration of Women’s Day at Stellenbosch University.
The lecture is presented by the Division for Community Interaction (DCI), the Beyers Naudé Centre for Public Theology (BNC) and the Frederik Van Zyl Slabbert Institute (FVZS Institute) for Student Leadership Development at SU.
