Applications awaited for Examination Invigilators: Oct/Nov 2012

 Applications are invited from persons who wish to undertake invigilation duties during the SU examinations from 30 October to 8 December 2012.

Minimum qualification is Matric, but preference will be given to US staff members holding a degree and post graduate students.  

We regret that undergraduate students do not qualify.  

Lecturing staff should obtain permission from their Deans but are not required to apply for leave.   Remuneration is R60 per hour. Application forms are available at the Information Desk, Admin A. Closing date for applications is 16:00 on 20 September 2012. Applications commence on 22 Augustus 2012.

  1. @phakiso – Examination sessions are at different times. As with any form of employment, there are rules and regulations that need to be adhered to. If you qualify according to the requirements for the position, you will be considered. SU uphold the highest standards as it is the integrity of their examinations that is at stake here. Thank you for the question.

  2. Just want to know how could the university hire people who are already having permanent jobs, while there are thounsands of poor young people around Stellenbosch who really need the job,in places like Cloetesvalley, Kayamandi and Idasvalley.

  3. Persone wat matriek geslaag het het is welkom om aansoek te doen. Nie-gegradueerdes (maw studente wat huidiglik nog voorgraads is) kwalifiseer ongelukkig nie.

  4. Ek verstaan nie hoekom die min vereiste matriek is as u voorkeur verleen aan nagraadse studente en gegradueerde personeel.Hoekom dan nie maar eenkeer die min vereiste verander nie?Wat sal die kanse vir ‘n nie gegradueerde dan wees?
