Tygerberg Children’s Choir to perform in Stellenbosch

After winning a feast of medals at the World Choir Games in Cincinnati, Ohio during July this year, it is time again for Tygerberg Children’s Choir’s annual Donors’ Concert in Stellenbosch.   The choir is under the baton of Hennie Loock with Theresa Loock as accompaniest and arranger.

The choir obtained two second places and gold medals in the Children’s Choirs and Music of the Religions categories, performing against the world’s very best choirs.

Works performed will include Mayotte’s The Lord’s Prayer, nearer My God to Thee, a Balinese monkey chant called Tjak, a medley from Les Miserables, Gloryland and almost the choir’s entire competition repertoire as performed in Cincinnati.
