Some twenty athletes who have managed to run a dream mile at Coetzenburg, are to be honoured at a special athletics meeting at this internationally known athletics stadium on Friday 11 December. A dream mile is achieved by completing the mile in less than four minutes.

The Stellenbosch University Sport Performance Institute (SUSPI) invites everyone to take part in the Stellenbosch Vista 12km trail run or 5km fun run on Saturday 18 April.
The event will take place at 08:00 at Coetzenburg, and SUSPI will be providing medical support services during the course of the races.

Stellenbosch University will be the host for the Bonitas Comrades Novice Project Seminar held on Saturday 28 March 2009.
The seminar will feature a panel of leading sports science experts in the fields of training, nutrition, psychology and injury prevention.
