The day of Atonement

We are shown in the book of Hebrews that the earthly sanctuary was a model of the heavenly sanctuary. Hebrews 5v8. The same way the early sanctuary had a Holy Place and Most Holy place, so does Christ’s ministry in the heavenly sanctuary. “Hebrews 9:23 shows us that the work Christ does in the heavenly sanctuary is the true expression of what the earthly high priest did in the yearly Day of Atonement service in the Israelite sanctuary.” Living in the last days, we are to ensure that we are aware of the fact that what Christ has done for us in the past, He continues to do now, in the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary.

Christ in the Heavenly Sanctuary

Christ is our high priest in the heavenly sanctuary (Heb. 6:20) and is interceding for us . We ought to know the position and work of Christ in the sanctuary as it is fundamental in our preparation for the end times and our salvation.
Memory Text: “God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth” (Philippians 2:9, 10, NIV) .

The Everlasting Gospel

The gospel is everlasting because it is from an everlasting God, who does not change. From the beginning, God’s plan was for us to have salvation, in Him. Ephesians 1:4&5, tells us more about how everlasting this gospel actually is and points to God’s desire for us to have eternal life in Him. Our salvation comes only from God’s loving character. The choice is up to us, whether we accept or reject this salvation. Remember, Ephesians 1:4 and live it in our daily lives.

The Love of the Spirit

The Holy Spirit has been misunderstood as much as the Father. But He is a special member of the trinity.

Counselor, Comfortor and Keeper; He reveals truth and divine love. Luke 12:12

He is hard at work, securing our eternal good…pointing out the narrow way.

The Love of Christ

Christ was a divine being and fully God. He created the heavens and the earth. He formed man out of the dust of the ground. John 1:1-3

And yet when His creation rebeled against Him. He stooped to become dust and die in our place. Philippians 2:5-8

This is how Christ’s love was and continues to be manifested in our lives.
