SUNScholar Update 25 May 2011

Colleagues

An update re SUNScholar activities.

Scopus export

During the past month we have exported the bibliographic details of approximately 7 200 articles to SUNScholar. We are now in the process of attaching full text to these records and clearing copyright, which will take up quite some time. What is very impressive is that the SUNScholar item comes up first when conducting a Google search for a specific title, after the metadata has been fully edited and because of the way SUNScholar was set up.

If you have access to the post-print (peer-reviewed, and just before being published) of these entries, please feel free to assist us in any way to get hold of the post-print copy. You are welcome to conduct an author search for researchers within your department, to see which of their articles appear in SUNScholar.

The current item count on SUNScholar: 12 486 items

Inet Key to access SUNScholar

Since Google Analytics runs in the background, you need to have your inet-key open when accessing SUNScholar. IT has been made aware of this, and it requires a change in IT policy.
