Today, Freediving is a sport that allows us to see the beauty of the ocean, test our own limits, and use only our bodies and a single breath to explore the underwater world.
At Maties Underwater, Freediving is about enjoying and sharing the love of the ocean. It is to experience the underwater world with the freedom of one of its own creatures. With sound training and instruction through the internationally accredited PADI freediving curriculum, our freediving instructors and instructor-trainer wish to guide you through this journey of enlightenment and teach you about the rich culture of freediving at Maties Underwater. We offer a range of courses starting from the basics and ending with the instructor’s course.
