As part of its mandate, SANAP is involved in the study of penguin populations and their role in the Antarctic ecosystem. SANAP conducts regular research expeditions to collect data on penguin behavior, breeding patterns, and the impacts of environmental changes on their survival. In collaboration with international partners, SANAP scientists monitor penguin colonies, track their movements, and observe how changes in sea ice and food availability affect their populations.

The SANAP Logo: A Symbol of Unity and Exploration

As part of its mission, SANAP proudly displays its logo, a visual representation of the program’s focus on research, conservation, and the spirit of exploration.
