Office of the Senior Director
The Office of the Senior Director is responsible for the strategic management of the Corporate Communication and Marketing Division (CCMD).
The strategic activities of the CCMD is aligned with Stellenbosch University’s Vision 2040 and Strategic Framework 2019–2024. This ensures a direct link between SU’s core strategic themes and institutional objectives on the one hand and its communication, branding, and marketing programmes on the other.
The role of the CCMD is fourfold: to position the SU brand, undertake effective communication programmes, optimise the use of digital communication platforms and establish SU as the first choice tertiary institution for prospective students. These priorities are intended to ensure maximum focus and optimal utilisation of resources on the part of the CCMD, working in close collaboration with its key internal partners, the academic faculties and the professional and administrative support services.
