\"\"Quentin Groom is based at the Meise Botanic Garden, in Belgium, where his research focus on the use of information technology in the analysis and dissemination of scientific information, particularly related to invasive species, taxonomy and citizen science.<\/p>\n

During his C\u00b7I\u00b7B fellowship, Quentin will contribute to the C\u00b7I\u00b7B workshop titled \u2018Frameworks to categorise biological invasions for science, policy, and management\u2019<\/em>. He will be working with C\u00b7I\u00b7B Core Team member, John Wilson, on implementing the Unified Framework for Biological Invasions within Darwin Core. However, the fellowship will also further his research in three areas, all of which relate to the understanding, monitoring, and prevention of biological invasions. During his time at the C\u00b7I\u00b7B, Quentin will present a workshop for staff, students, and post-docs about FAIR data, what it means, why they should consider it and how it is achieved.<\/p>\n
