MRI is complementary to CT and allows the visualization of especially water-rich materials such as biological tissue: live animals, meat, fruits, plants, etc. In this simple example, a human brain image from an MRI scan is demonstrated with some images and a 3D movie. Any 3D data can be analysed in our facility using state of the art software, including MRI data such as in this example.

3D movie: brain clip

As a complementary 3D imaging tool for our clients, we offer the ability to do experiments using MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans in collaboration with our colleagues at the Brain Imaging Centre.
