To contact me, see the contact link or visit the links in my current roles.<\/p>\n<h2>Current roles<\/h2>\n<h3>Associate Professor (Extra-ordinary)<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ie.sun.ac.za\/research\/sustainable-management\/\">Engineering Management and Sustainable Systems Group<\/a><br \/>\nIndustrial Engineering, Stellenbosch University<\/p>\n<p>In this role, my primary activity and interest is offering supervision to motivated post-grad PhD and Master students in areas such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Energy systems analysis<\/li>\n<li>Technology development, innovation and the management thereof<\/li>\n<li>CSP (Concentrating solar power)<\/li>\n<li>Systems aspects at the nexus of energy, food, water. This includes environment, economics, technology, complexity and more.<\/li>\n<li>Systems engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Department and Program Manager<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandia.gov\/csp\">CSP Department &amp; National Solar Thermal Test Facility (NSTTF)<\/a><br \/>\nSandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico<\/p>\n<h3>Other<\/h3>\n<p>I am a founding member of <a href=\"http:\/\/sterg.sun.ac.za\/\">STERG<\/a>, and in the process of transitioning the DST\/NRF Solar Thermal Spoke grant to a colleague in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/faculty\/eng\/mechanical-mechatronic\">Mechanical Engineering<\/a>.
