House Anthem

In 2019, we revised our house anthem. This process involved gathering input from residents to ensure the new anthem truly reflected the spirit and values of Helshoogters. Our goal was to capture the essence of our traditions, unity, and pride, in a rallying cry that brings together past, present, and future generations of Helshoogte residents. It is as a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement and dedication to fostering a strong, cohesive community.

I am a HelshoogteR (2020)

We stand as Helshoogte in the heart of
Stellenbosch:
Reis bo tot die hemel, Helshoogte my trots.
Ukuqala kobuhlobo, nomanyano oluhle, Ngembeko kunye nentembeko.

Hellies, saam sal ons veg en baklei.
Op die kampus kraai ons koning,
Here as brothers we will stand, Helshoogte my trots en my eer.

Hellies, saam sal ons veg en baklei.
Ndizophila ndiyifele,
And forever we will strive,
To give you our honour and pride.
