Iimbovane Sugar Ant Schools get a week “jam-packed” with biodiversity!

The last week of the school winter holiday was the time for learners from the Iimbovane Sugar Ant Schools to visit the Iimbovane ant laboratory to learn more about the wonderful world of ants. From the 4th July to 9th July 2010 seventeen Grade 10 learners from various schools in the Western Cape visited the laboratory.

“Ant-spired” learners at 2010 Eskom Expo for Young Scientists

Two learners participating in the Iimbovane Outreach Project were selected to present their science project at this year’s regional competition of the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists.

Iimbovane represented at the WfW National Teachers Conference

The 2nd National Teachers Conference organized by Working for Water Programme (WfW) was held in Polokwane, Limpopo Province, from the 28th of September to 1st of October 2010 and the Iimbovane Outreach Project was invited to showcase their work.
