This year’s event took place on the 1st of August 2014 at Overberg Primary School in Caledon.

The Iimbovane Outreach Project had an important role to play in showcasing the field of environmental and biodiversity science, as well as giving the learners guidance on subject choices and tertiary institution entry requirements. After handing out brochures, learners were given the chance to take part in a competition that involved the identification of different ant species under a microscope. This promoted learner interaction at our display and increased their curiosity of insect morphology.

<img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-391 size-large"
