At Irene Residence, we aim to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and part of something bigger than themselves while also cultivating a growth mindset. By providing Ireners with the opportunity to engage in various committees and activities, each individual can develop their unique skills and explore their interests.     Critical Engagement Committee<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Critical Engagement is about creating a space where we share ideas, challenge each other\u2019s thinking, and learn from different perspectives. It\u2019s not just debate, it\u2019s about growing together, making sense of the world, and finding better solutions as a community.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      The aim of this committee is to reflect the values of Irene to the outside world and to create an online space that makes people feel warm and welcome. It embodies a reciprocal learning which means when you give your time and ideas, you help others and you\u2019re also learning, growing and gaining fresh perspectives from the people you work with.             Although \u201cStick to the Status Quo\u201d in High School Musical is an absolute banger, our mission at Womxn Empowerment is to challenge the status quo that womxn face, and foster a community where every womxn, regardless of their background, can come together to support and uplift one another. We are a testament to the fact that when we lift each other up, we all rise.<\/span><\/p>\n

            How do we do this? <\/span>We work to promote the rights and amplify the voices of womxn through events, workshops, and advocacy, where diverse strengths are recognized.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

                  This portfolio focuses on the idea of pouring into your own cup!                             When thinking of Irene Week there are a few words to describe it. GEES, community, fun and a whole lot of dove love. By being part of the Irene Week committee you get to take part in the behind the scenes planning that make this unforgettable week so amazing as it is for the rest of the house.<\/span><\/p>\n

                            Roles and responsibilities of committee members will include:<\/span><\/p>\n

                                The Choreography Committee is all about teaching the first-years a fun, exciting dance that they\u2019ll perform at Connect.<\/span><\/p>\n

                                Being part of this committee means having rhythm, patience, and the energy to keep newcomers motivated, even when they\u2019re hot, tired, and impatient. As choreographers, we lead with passion, encourage participation, and make sure the dance is not only about moves, but also about building unity and gees.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
