The radio version of Bits & Bytes had it’s second successful broadcast on Tuesday and the feedback has been extremely positive. With each programme we try to combine news relevant to students and staff, as well as interesting developments on the technological front, in an informal style.
This week’s topics included e-mail storms, a new smart watch, our latest survey and news on the brand new IT Student Centre launching January 2014.
We do realise not everyone will be able to listen to the show due to limited access, therefore we have an alternative so you won’t miss out on anything. `n Maand gelede het ons julle met trots ingelig dat daar voortaan `n spesiale IT-segment elke tweede Dinsdag op MFM uitgesaai sal word. (Lees die berig hier.)
Die radio-weergawe van Bits & Bytes het die afgelope week sy tweede suksesvolle uitsending gehad en die terugvoer het ons verwagtinge oortref. Met elke insetsel probeer ons om `n kombinasie van relevante nuus vir studente en personeel, sowel as interessante verwikkelinge op die tegnologiese front op `n informele trant aan luisteraars oor te dra.
Dié week se onderwerpe het e-pos storms, `n nuwe “slim”-horlosie wat eendag selfone se rol mag oorneem, ons nuutste opname en nuus oor die splinternuwe IT-Studentesentrum wat in Januarie bekendgestel word, in.
Ons besef egter dat almal nie toegang het om daarna te luister nie en het dus die fasiliteit geskep waar jy, nadat dit uitgesaai is, steeds aanlyn na die uitsendings kan luister. Al wat jy hoef te doen is om na www.sun.ac.za/bb te gaan waar daar `n lys van alle vorige nuusbriewe is, maar ook alle vorige radio-uitsendings. Kliek bloot op die mp3-skakel.
Die insetsels word binne die us-netwerk gehuisves, dus gaan dit nie jou internetkoste opvreet nie – jy kan met `n geruste hart luister.
