To have access to internet, email and any other network service, you need to reactivate your username annually.<\/a> If you haven’t reactivated for 2018, your access will have expired on 4 April. What do you do now?<\/p>\n

  1. You will not be able to access the network from your devices. In order to reactivate, use a colleague’s PC or laptop.<\/li>\n
  2. Browse to the following address: www.sun.ac.za\/useradm.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
  3. You will see three options:
    \n Sign on\u00a0<\/strong>
    \n Forgot password<\/strong>
    \n Reactivate expired username<\/p>\n

    <\/strong>Select Reactivate expired username.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    4. You will be asked to sign in with your username and ID number or Passport number. See example below.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    5. After signing in, you will see a list of options for your username, as well as the appropriate cost points options.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    6. Select the usernames you want to activate and fill in the correct cost point. This is very important. Rather make sure which cost point you should use from your department’s financial officer. If it’s incorrect it will result in a delay of your activation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    7. Your request for activation will be forwarded to your cost centre manager.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    8. As soon as they approve it, you will have access to the SU network again.<\/p>\n

    Indien internet, e-pos en ander netwerkdienste gebruik, moet jy jaarliks jou gebruikersnaam heraktiveer<\/a>. Indien jy nie vir 2018 heraktiveer het nie, het jou toegang op 4 April verval. Hoe nou gemaak?<\/p>\n

    1. Jy sal nie toegang\u00a0h\u00ea tot die netwerk vanaf\u00a0enige van jou\u00a0toestelle nie. Om te kan heraktiveer, sal jy `n kollega se\u00a0PC of skootrekenaar moet gebruik.\u00a0<\/li>\n
    2. Gaan na die\u00a0volgende adres: www.sun.ac.za\/useradm.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
    3. Jy sal drie opsies sien:
      \n Sign on\u00a0<\/strong>
      \n Forgot password<\/strong>
      \n Reactivate expired username<\/p>\n

      4. Jy sal gevra word om aan te teken met jou gebruikersnaam en ID-nommer of pasportnommer. Sien voorbeeld onder.\\<\/p>\n

      \"\"<\/p>\n

      5. Nadat jy aangeteken het, sal jy `n lys opsies\u00a0sien\u00a0vir jou gebruikersnaam, sowel as die toepaslike kostepuntopsies.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      6. Kies die\u00a0gebruikersnaam en diens\u00a0wat jy wil heraktiveer\u00a0en vul die korrekte\u00a0kostepunt in. Die korrekte\u00a0kostepunt is van uiterste\u00a0belang. Indien jy onseker is watter\u00a0kostepunt jy moet gebruik, maak eerder seker\u00a0by jou departement se finansi\u00eble beampte. Indien jy die\u00a0verkeerde kostepunt invul, sal dit veroorsaak dat\u00a0jou\u00a0aktivering vertraag word.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      7. Jou versoek vir heraktivering sal aangestuur word na jou kostepuntbestuurder.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      8. Sodra dit deur die kostepuntbestuurder goedgekeur word, sal jy weer toegang tot die US-netwerk h\u00ea.\u00a0<\/p>\n
