Extended Learning Spaces<\/em> has been the talk of the town in Stellenbosch since the project started last year. This project aims to ensure that all the lecture venues regularly used by staff and students have been set up to allow students to join in virtually or in-person and have the same experience.<\/p>\n

The project has had some hiccups as we await hardware from international suppliers. However, we are pleased to say that Academic IT has begun ensuring that classrooms already set up are fully supported. We do this in partnership with the Faculty Computer User Area teams and IT staff.<\/p>\n

For lecturers who need assistance the following is available:<\/p>\n

  1. Training on the use of the devices and software.<\/li>\n
  2. Troubleshooting for errors encountered.<\/li>\n
  3. Real time virtual or in-person support.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Extended Learning Spaces<\/em> is sedert die projek verlede jaar geloods is `n gesprekspunt. Di\u00e9 projek se doel is om te verseker dat alle lesinglokale wat gereeld deur studente en personeel gebruik word, ingerig is sodat studente virtueel en in-persoon dieselfde ondervinding kan h\u00ea<\/p>\n

    Omdat ons vir die aflewering van hardeware van oorsese verskaffers moes wag was daar `n effense vertraging. Ons is egter in ons noppies om te kan s\u00ea dat Akademiese IT nou besig is om te verseker dat klaskamers wat reeds opgestel is volledige ondersteuning kry. Ons doen dit in samewerking met die fakulteite se RGA-spanne en IT-personeel.\u00a0<\/p>\n
