The Information Technology Division is <\/span>in the process of<\/span> reviewing and updating its <\/span>Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Acceptable Use Policy<\/span><\/strong> to<\/span> guide the acceptable use of SU\u2019s information and communication technology resources (ICT resources) to ensure the lawful and secure use in support of the University\u2019s activities whilst adhering to SU\u2019s values. The Policy addresses the need to protect the University\u2019s intellectual property and stakeholder(s)\u2019 data while enabling them to do their work aligned with SU\u2019s vision.<\/span><\/p>\n As part of a transparent and consultative approach, we invite input from stakeholders throughout the revision process. This page will <\/span>serve as<\/span> a central hub for updates and timelines in the consultation rounds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The revised policy has now been finalised and approved following extensive consultation. Earlier this year, the first draft was presented to the General Management Meeting (GMM), after which a questionnaire was distributed to staff and students to gather feedback and recommendations.<\/p>\n We have since reviewed all responses and incorporated relevant input into the final version of the policy.
