Judge Nienaber was appointed to the then Appellate Division in 1990 where he served until 2002. In 2018 Judge Nienaber donated a wonderful collection of books to the Faculty of Law\u2019s library, consisting of biographies of lawyers from across the world that Judge Nienaber collected over many years. Many of the items in the collection are now out of print and rare works, some dating back more than a century. Judge Nienaber will be greatly missed and we extend our condolences to his family and friends with this great loss. Regter Nienaber was in 1990 in die App\u00e8lhof aangestel en het di\u00e9 posisie tot 2002 beklee. In 2018 het Regter Nienaber \u0149 wonderlike versameling boeke aan die Fakulteit Regsgeleerdheid geskenk wat bestaan uit biografie\u00eb van regsgeleerdes van oor die hele w\u00eareld wat Regter Nienaber oor baie jare versamel het. Verskeie items in die versameling is nou uit druk en raar werke, sommige waarvan oor \u0149 eeu oud is. Regter Nienaber sal gemis word en ons bied ons medelye aan sy familie en vriende met hierdie groot verlies.
