The following new features are included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Re-designed and enhanced journal profile pages (see screenshots below)<\/li>\n<li>Document-level transparency\u00a0for the JIF and new indicators<\/li>\n<li>Citation network expansion: Citations now include the contribution of the Book Citation Index<\/li>\n<li>New contextual information: Geographical data of authors and a list of top contributing institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Find the Journal Citation Reports on the Library Homepage under Find\/E-databases\/<a href=\"http:\/\/library.sun.ac.za\/connect\/jcr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Journal Citation Reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"content-container\">\n<div id=\"content\" role=\"main\">\n<div id=\"post-4805\" class=\"post-4805 post type-post status-publish format-standard hentry category-metrics category-research-news tag-journal-citation-reports\">\n<div class=\"entry entry-content\">\n<p>These metrics could be helpful in finding a good journal, but remember that there is no guarantee that an individual article in a journal with a high impact factor will be well-cited.
