Maties Equestrian riders are competing in a variety of disciplines on a local, provincial and national level. The Stellenbosch District Riding Club (SDRC) hosts shows up to national level, and is a short 15 minute drive away. Clinics and practice shows are also held regularly at SDRC, so you will see Maties riders at the show grounds very often!<\/p>\n
We are proud to have members competing in Dressage, Show Jumping, Endurance, Eventing and Showing. Our recently upgraded facilities allow for the ideal training atmosphere for the occasional show-goer all the way up to the fully competitive rider.<\/p>\n
Our stable and club horses are registered with SANESA, allowing our junior pupils (elementary and secondary school level) to compete provincially and nationally in various disciplines.<\/p>\n
Maties Equestrian also hosts its own practice shows every 2-3 months, usually in dressage, show jumping, equitation and\/or showing. Our shows are small and take place in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere where fun is the first priority! Students from our riding school often start off their show experiences at our stables before graduating to \u201coff-site\u201d events such as at SDRC.
