Inspired by the legendary Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park, this worldwide event brings science into the public spotlight, setting the stage for dynamic discussions on ground-breaking discoveries and stirring controversies. It’s science like you’ve never seen before \u2013 taking to the streets and sparking curiosity at every turn!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This year, Soapbox Science returns to Cape Town! <\/b>for the THIRD time since its inception.<\/span><\/p>\n This year’s event promises to transform the Pierhead at the V&A Waterfront into an open arena for learning and lively debates! Eleven remarkable speakers from South Africa\u2019s top institutions will cover a spectrum of topics, ranging from nuclear physics to marine biology, to hint a couple. Our speakers aim to engage with people from all walks of life to share some of South Africa\u2019s most ground-breaking scientific research.
