global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Hierdie program het drie fokusareas waarvan jy een kies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Toegepaste Medisinale Chemie<\/li>\n<li>Bioinformatika en Berekeningsbiologie<\/li>\n<li>Biomediese Wiskundige Wetenskappe<\/li>\n<li>Biowiskunde<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Elke fokusarea lei tot 'n BSc-graad met 'n spesifieke kurrikulum wat geselekteerde studente in staat stel om interdissiplin\u00eare voorgraadse studie te onderneem, en dit te kan opvolg met nagraadse studie in ingenieurswetenskap of bioinformatika, dit wil s\u00ea op 'n interdissiplin\u00eare vlak.<\/p>\n<p>Bogenoemde programsamestelling is anders as die huidige programme (behalwe vir die BSc in Biodiversiteit en Ekologie, en BSc in Aardwetenskappe) wat op finalejaarsvlak twee hoofvakke het en studente tipieserwys voorberei vir nagraadse studie in een van die twee vakdissiplines wat as hoofvakke geneem is. Die doel is om studente vir loopbane in die mediese, farmaseutiese en verwante gesondheidsindustrie voor te berei.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bioinformatika en Berekeningsbiologie<br \/><\/strong>Hierdie interdissiplin\u00eare fokusarea kombineer Biochemie, Bioinformatika, Rekenaarwetenskap en Genetika op \u2019n multidissiplin\u00eare vlak. Die Sentrum vir Bioinformatika en Berekeningsbilogie bied nagraadse graadprogramme in Bioinformatika en Berekeningsbiologie aan: nl \u2019n Honneurs, MSc en PhD. Jy het ook nagraadse studie-opsies in Biochemie, Rekenaarwetenskap of Genetika (met addisionele modules in \u2019n addisionele akademiese jaar).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biomediese Wiskundige Wetenskappe<br \/><\/strong>Biomediese Wiskundige Wetenskappe is 'n multidisciplin\u00eare BSc fokusarea wat Fisiologie en Wiskundige Wetenskappe kombineer en wat op 'n generiese eerstejaarskurrikulum volg.
