The Department of Viticulture and Oenology (DVO) is the only University-based department in South Africa that offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Grapevine and Wine Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>The integration of the two disciplines, together with analytical chemistry, sensory science and data analysis generates study and research opportunities for students from diverse academic backgrounds.
