Who is eligible to apply for a PERI-ACE scholarship?
African nationals who are currently studying, working at, or recently graduated from one of the six PERI-ACE core partner institutions. Specific eligibility varies by mobility type — refer to the Application Guidelines.
In what languages are PERI-ACE programmes offered?
English is the primary language of instruction across the consortium. Selected programmes at 2iE and Cheikh Anta Diop University are delivered in French, and at Eduardo Mondlane University in Portuguese.
Does PERI-ACE cover travel, visa and insurance costs?
Yes — the scholarship contribution covers travel, visa application, mandatory insurance, accommodation and monthly subsistence at the equivalent value in Euros, paid in the local currency of the host country.
Can applicants with disabilities or special needs apply?
Yes. PERI-ACE includes dedicated funding for special-needs support, including tailored study materials, assistive arrangements, counselling services and integration support.
When are calls for applications published?
Calls are issued cohort by cohort across the four-year project. Doctoral and first MSc cohort calls open in Year 1; further MSc, traineeship and staff-exchange calls follow in subsequent years. Follow the project website and social media for announcements.
