PERI-ACE supports at least\u00a0<\/span>40 emerging scholars<\/span><\/b>\u00a0through strategically funded master\u2019s and doctoral studies, traineeships, and staff mobility\u2014all designed to maximize employability and academic growth.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Scholarship Allocation\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 40 mobility opportunities are distributed across four categories:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Master’s scholarships \u2014 combining full-degree mobilities of 24 months and credit-seeking mobilities of 10 months.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Doctoral scholarships \u2014 36-month research programmes aligned with regional climate priorities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Traineeships \u2014 five-month placements at associated partners ICPAC and AMCOW.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Provision is also made for one special-needs scholarship to support a candidate with disabilities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        Scholarship Details<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

        The project aims to support individuals with\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Master\u2019s, Doctoral, Traineeship mobility<\/span>. Funds\u00a0<\/span><\/span>allocated<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>for scholarship contributions cover travel, visa application fees, living costs, including accommodation and subsistence. These are paid to students monthly in local currency,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>at<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the equivalent value in Euros<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        Institutional Support<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

        Provision is made for institutional contributions per scholarship to cover academic expenses and administrative fees, such as tuition,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>research<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and laboratory costs. These funds also support attendance at on-campus or in-country conferences, seminars, and boot camps relevant to the academic programme, undertaken with the guidance of the student’s academic lead.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Inclusion and Equity\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

        PERI-ACE is committed to\u00a0equitable\u00a0access. The project targets women’s participation across all mobility categories, with deliberate outreach to applicants in climate-related STEM fields. Applications are actively encouraged from\u00a0candidates from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds, fragile states, least-developed\u00a0regions\u00a0and those with refugee status, and from candidates with disabilities.<\/span>\u00a0To\u00a0promote\u00a0regional diversity,\u00a0mobility will be distributed equitably across diverse nationalities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
