The role of a house-committee member is to integrate new first year students and to orientate them in their new surroundings. They also offer academic and emotional support to their members, while at the same time providing a platform for social integration. The House Committee is responsible for:<\/p>\n

  1. Determining the strategic direction of the house<\/li>\n
  2. The administration of the community<\/li>\n
  3. The promotion of Silene\u2019s values<\/li>\n
  4. Performing all reasonable tasks and requests from members of Silene<\/li>\n
  5. Complying with all the provisions in this Constitution<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
