The SU-UIC has 35 external moderators who externally moderate the Independent Examination Board’s International Secondary Certificate examination papers for 32 subjects. The external moderators are specialists in their respective subject fields and highly skilled at moderating examination papers. They form part of a crucial aspect of the external quality assurance functions that the SU-UIC performs for the examination Board’s International Secondary Certificate.
