To enhance service delivery to students, the CSCD has offices at\u00a0Tygerberg Campus. The CSCD comprises five units, which each delivers an autonomous, professional and client-centred service:<\/p><div dir=\"ltr\" title=\"Page 7\"><div><div><ol start=\"0\"><li style=\"list-style-type: none\"><ul><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/learning-teaching\/student-affairs\/cscd\/academic-counselling\">Unit for Academic Counselling and Development<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/learning-teaching\/student-affairs\/cscd\/academic-counselling\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-203 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.sun.ac.za\/tpsc\/files\/2021\/02\/wellness-2-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.sun.ac.za\/tpsc\/files\/2021\/02\/wellness-2-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.sun.ac.za\/tpsc\/files\/2021\/02\/wellness-2-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/blogs.sun.ac.za\/tpsc\/files\/2021\/02\/wellness-2.png 340w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/learning-teaching\/student-affairs\/cscd\/psychotherapeutic-support\">Unit for Psychotherapeutic and Support Services<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/learning-teaching\/student-affairs\/cscd\/career-services\"><strong>Unit for Graduand Career Services<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/learning-teaching\/student-affairs\/cscd\/disabilities\">Disability Unit<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/learning-teaching\/student-affairs\/cscd\/equality-unit\">Equality Unit<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol><\/div><\/div><\/div><div title=\"Page 8\"><p>Support\u00a0is routinely rendered \u200bto students in line with the core functions of the CSCD which\u00a0include:\u00a0psychotherapy, social work support services, psychiatric services, developmental work sessions, career development, academic development, psychometric assessment and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/faculty\/healthsciences\/Molecular_Biology_Human_Genetics\/Pages\/Integrated%20Crisis%20Service%20with%20ER24%20English%202020.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong class=\"ms-rteForeColor-3\">24-hour Emergency Service in collaboration with ER24<\/strong><\/a>\u200b.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-GB\">Other services include assisting with the Work-Study Programme and Food assistance for those in need. \u200b\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/p><h5 class=\"ms-rteElement-H4B\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><br \/>WORK-STUDY PROGRAMME<\/span><\/h5><p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The Work-Study Programme allows students to gain work experience while studying. These students earn a minimal income per month to assist with their financial need.
