Lessons
We offer weekly riding lessons for beginners up to advanced riders of any age. Lessons are focused on proper flat work and dressage, with more secure riders learning to Showjump and Event as well.
Cost:
Individual (30min) or group (1hr) R360
Indivdual (1hr) lesson R400
Instruction on your own horse/lease horse can be arranged.
Outrides
Maties also offers trail rides to anyone interested in seeing the Stellenbosch surrounds on horseback! Beginner, intermediate and advanced riders are all welcome! Please be aware that we do not take large groups to ensure your safety and make your ride as enjoyable as possible!
Cost:
R400 for an outride per person
The duration of the trail ride is approximately an hour and needs to be scheduled at least two days in advance.
Please note that hard hats and closed shoes with a slight heel must be worn when mounted.
