Congratulations to Crystal Steyl and Kwame Ahiavi on the award of the first and second prizes, respectively, for their flash talks at the SASBi/SAGS 2022 Student Symposium.
This joint conference of the South African Genetics Society (SAGS) and the South African Society for Bioinformatics (SASBi) was held on 24 April at Spier Wine Estate. The conference brought together researchers from across the spectrum under a central theme: Bioscience, Big Data & the 4th Industrial Revolution to facilitate dialog, networking, brainstorming and cross-pollination of ideas.
We are so very proud of our students and the professionalism and passion with which they present their research and engage with the scientific community. Well done!
