The 18th July marks Mandela Day in South Africa. This Mandela Day is special in that it is the 10th Anniversary, marking a decade long promise by all South Africans to work together to make a difference in our country.
Bless-a-Baby, a non-profit organization that that provides relief for new mothers in historically disadvantaged areas by providing essentials for a mother and newborn, is hosting a special event from Wed 15 July till Sat 18 July, in honour of Mandela Day. For this event, volunteers donated 67 minutes of their time in the Bless-a-Baby workroom packing nappy bags for distribution to 10 hospitals throughout the Cape Town area.
In honour of Madiba, members of MBHG donated their time, money or essential baby items to Bless-a-Baby to do their part to make a positive impact in the lives of others!
