Stellenbosch, South Africa on 30 November 2016
The 27th annual Symposium of the Pattern Recognition Association of South Africa (PRASA) will be held in conjunction with the 9th Conference of Robotics and Mechatronics (RobMech) on 1-2 December 2016 at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University (www.ee.sun.ac.za).
The main conference will be preceded by a day of workshops and tutorials on 30 November 2016. We invite you to submit proposals for full day and half day workshops and tutorials related to the conference theme.

Submission guidelines
Workshops should aim to present results and/or promote discussion about an active research field in pattern recognition, robotics or mechatronics. Tutorials should focus on a treatment of established principles, techniques or tools of interest to the pattern recognition, robotics and mechatronics community.
Proposals should address the following points:
- Type (workshop or tutorial)
- Duration (half day or full day)
- Title
- Organiser(s) and affiliations
- Speaker(s)
- Brief description of objectives and content
- Intended audience
- Expected attendance
- Special requests (equipment and facilities)
