ResearcherID’s

If you are a researcher, please register and obtain your unique ResearcherID! www.researcherid.com

More than ever, research is a collaborative effort. You need to know what your colleagues are working on and of course, you want your work to be highly visible and accessible as well. ResearcherID is a new tool that promotes this vital communication and awareness among the global research community.

A unique identifier

When you register, you are assigned a unique ID number that expressly associates you with your published works, regardless of any possible nomenclature variations or institutional affiliation changes. Unique identifiers allow everyone who accesses ResearcherID to easily find a specific author’s work, avoiding the common problem of author misidentification.

A unique profile

What would you like others to know about you and your work? It’s up to you!  When you register on ResearcherID.com, you create and manage your own profile and publication list. This is the information others will see when they are seeking relevant citations, collaborators, speakers, reviewers, and more.

And unique metrics

Plus you can calculate personal metrics based on Web of Science items in your publication list.  And our exciting new “Labs” environment enables you to visually explore your collaboration and citation networks, and promote your work by linking directly to your ResearcherID profile from almost any online environment.

ResearcherID  is easy to use and can be accessed by the worldwide global community. But only registered members will have their information available for searching, linking, and tracking.

If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact the Thomson Reuters Scientific support team (http://science.thomsonreuters.com/support/). Please note that the sending email address cannot accept replies.

* Although ResearcherID.com is accessible from any computer, features integrated with ISI Web of Knowledge require you to be on an authenticated computer.
