The URDR works with diverse clients and research collaborators around the world. This includes governments, networks, faith based organisations, private trusts and foundations, community organisations and educational institutions.
We partner to help them engage more effectively in sustainable development and in violence prevention and response. Our evidence-based approaches take specific note of the faith and culture related dimensions in the various contexts where they work and its impact on sustainable development and patterns of social violence.
We employ a critical lens on diverse religious and cultural systems to help organisations move from paradigms of welfare to rights based approaches. This also enables their work to be more effective and to tackle underlying drivers or root causes.
