ADA Summer School

In January 2018 our PhD candidates attended the African Doctoral Academy of Stellenbosch University. The ADA’s bi-annual, two week long doctoral schools take place every year in summer (January) and winter (June-July) and aim to offer high impact research and methodology training, as well as training in academic preparedness and career development. The candidates attended courses on Advanced qualitative data analysis, Project Management for Researchers, Preparing for the PhD – a roadmap for your research career and The productive PhD – applying innovative thinking in research to name a few.
