Men of May #15: Prof Craig Kinnear

Welcome back to our final post in the #MenOfMay blog series! We have thoroughly enjoyed sharing our  #MenIn Science profiles thus far and are so excited to share more of our amazing scientists with you!

Today’s featured Scientist this #MotivationMonday is Prof Craig Kinnear, a Specialist Scientist at the South African Medical Research Council’s (SAMRC) Centre for Tuberculosis Research and co-head of the TB Host-Genetics research Group within the Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics.

With over 20 years of research experience, Prof Kinnear possesses a wealth knowledge in a variety of research fields including Psychiatric Genetics, Obesity, Parkinson’s Disease, Cardiovascular disease, Tuberculosis Host Genetics, Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders and autophagy.
