PRE DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL:
No preparation for an overseas venture starts calmly, and preparing for our trip to China was no different. The last few weeks before departing consisted of hurriedly ensuring all paper work and funding was accounted for, as well as trying to ensure all essentials could be packed into a suitcase.
My trip to Belgium was hitch free. I boarded from Cape Town international airport to Brussels international airport in Belgium via Dubai on emirates airline. It was beautiful moments all the way. I arrived at Brussels on the afternoon of the 18th of September, 2014. Fortunately it was the start of the orientation week for new students. The information sessions were okay and parties and dinners were interesting.

Application to UvA:
After being selected/nominated by the US to go on exchange, you will have to submit another application to UvA. This application contains basically the same the information as you application to the US to go on exchange.
