Dr Gabriel Mashabela, a specialist scientist with the SAMRC Centre for TB Research housed within Stellenbosch University’s Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, recently received the Grand Challenges Africa Award from the Alliance for Accelerating Excellence in Science in Africa (AESA).
